So... design systems (and on a smaller scale digital style guides) - having worked on, and implemented them for a number of brands and organisations over the years i've become a little bit of an advocate. Design systems provide the behind-the-scenes structure that set your brand up for success. They create a unified language, align design teams, promote consistency, and can help reduce development time.
